Dr. Florin Paun is a European EIC expert, the only Chevalier de l’Ordre de Mérite for his contribution to the evolution of innovation strategies and tools (his research has complemented the theories of two Nobel Prize winners – Stiglitz and Sen and NASA’s “TRL” tool with its “DRL” Demand Readiness Level tool to follow his advice in national innovation strategies of “Agilization” and “Hybridization of Tech – Push and Market – Pull” which makes Poles, Clusters, Satt, etc. effective.
Science Advisor and Head of IP & Technology Roadmap for the Aresia Group, Florin Paun holds an Aerospace Engineering degree from Politehnica in Bucharest, an X90 in the International Program at Ecole Polytechnique and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from UPS in Toulouse. He completed his training with an Executive in Management and Leadership from MIT Sloan.
Florin spent twenty years in R&D at ONERA, where he became Director of Industrial Innovation.
